The Later Hour!

Gopal was in 5th standard
He played with his friends a lot
And was behind in studies
So his teacher thought of a remedy.

The school hour was 9 to 5
In which teacher tried to teach
For their students to score
And their parents would not be sour.

At the end of class Gopal played
So every day he waited class to end
When Teacher asked, “Can you
study an hour later tomorrow.”
Gopal replied, “Yeh, sure. See you at 10!”

The Mighty Elephant in Paper!

Gopal was 5years old
His Mom took him to retail store
Where they gave him crayons and paper to occupy
While his Mom shopped away.

Children are a lot creative
What they think that they apply
Gopal had drawn a squiggly mark
When asked told it was mouse.

“Is that your favourite animal”, some one asked
“No, my favourite is an elephant,
Gopal replied, “And I’m
Too small to draw that big!”

Same Feathers on Second Glance

Gopal and his brother were in high school
Their parents sent to them to same school
At night their Mom used to read bed time stories
When they were small children.

Each used to develop an idea
From other one’s thoughts
Which they shared together
Through which they went further.

But now they competed with each other
And one did not care about other
When their Mom asked their teacher
She replied, “They don’t have lot in common!.”

The Gift of Teeth!

Gopal was a young kid
Who played with his friends
One day one of his teeth came lose
And complained to his Mother being afraid.

Children teeth fall when they grow
Only to replace by new teeth
This fact Gopal did not know
And his Mom wanted to make him understand.

Mom said,“God gives as present twice
So you can have your teeth grow free again,
Only if the third time you lose,
You have to pay for them through dentist!”

To his delight all of the children passed,
And students came to thank him
He said, “I am now one of the richest person than Forbes!”

His father knew some one in Dictionary office
So Gopal father told his brother
He had put a word for him there.

When his father enquired,
He replied, “He can’t find the word put for his brother!”

His uncle took him to army parade
Which he watched with interest
Although he wanted to join the army least.

Our Nation to always defend.

His uncle asked would he wish to join army,
“If I were in army’s music band,”
Gopal replied, “ I ‘d say,

Fooling For Some Space

Gopal and Sham were friends
They were playing in school ground
Where older children also came to play
Who ordered Gopal to make way.

Gopal was playing with water gun
Which looked like original gun
Sham thought of a plan
And told Gopal to give him the gun.

Sham showed older boys the gun
Being afraid they were on the run
Gopal laughed and said, “This gun is not fatal.”
Sham replied, “But they don’t know that.!”

To Taste First Although Last!

Gopal was in 6th standard
One day was one of his class mat’s birthday
So his classmate distributed sweets
With teacher’s guidance trying to make it neat.

Children are stubborn
And want to be the first
Either to eat sweets or play
Since that is the way they spend time in happy way.

Gopal was last in queue
So evading teacher’s eye
He ran to his classmates, shouting
“Don’t waste time tasting … just swallow!”

From Circle To Line!

Gopal had a younger sister
Who with her friend talked a lot
This made Gopal like a fool appear
In front of his Mother.

Mom used to read books to her children
And after wards asked questions
She wanted her children to be intelligent
For that most of her time she spent.

One day Gopal Mother asked,
“How was Copper wire invented?”
Gopal replied looking at his sister,
When she with her friend was
fighting over a Copper coin!

His younger brother was studying in U.K.
The brothers were competing with each other
For their status to be higher.

Where 1.21 billion people lived in harmony
With fast growing economy
And having enough to spend penny.

One day Gopal’s brother called,
And in phone said,"I am ahead",
For that Gopal asked the time in U.K.
And explained "India is five-and -half hours ahead!”
